My Goals

 Aiming for the Stars!

• To raise and platform your voices, which starts day one, not waiting to be reinstated. 

• Taking the fight to the Ministry on funding to meet the needs of the schools, rather than the schools cutting to fit into the always shrinking barebones budget.

• Increase SLPs, OTs, Psychologists, to support the kids that require it.

• Psycho Assessments: clear the back log!

• Staffing to meet the needs of all the IEP goals, and IPRCs.

• Open more SPC’s to need (Special Program Classes) for equity and accessibility.

• Bring back Alternative Education, for equity and accessibility.

• French programs equity and accessibility.

• Smaller class sizes, which is also adopting what makes the alternative and SPCs so successful. 

• More EAs / ECEs support in every classroom, as per need, and IEP goals.

• Address systemic racism, homophobia, transphobia and ableism within the school board, and classrooms.

• Fund Breakfast Programs!

• To bring transparency, accountability and accessibility from the School Board and the Ministry of Education, to the parents, students, and staff.

• Did you know - Summer School for Special Education Student's is not funded by the Ministry… Fund summer school for all students! 

All of these goals create an environment where we can actually achieve student success and student achievement.
